Today was a beautiful autmn day in Loudoun. I met with some nice folks and showed a contemporary house in Aldie on 6 acres. It was not exactly what they wanted. Once we spent more time together, I had a better feeling for what they didn't want (that home because it had too many issues).
Buying a home is not an exact science. It involves feelings for the most part. You may not even realize what you want until you start looking and know what you don't want so then you can rule it out. That is a great way to approach buying a home - especially your first home. The buyer said a few key things. I came home, searched the MLS and found some pretty good matches in great locations like Warrenton and Haymarket. We will see.
